Welcome! I created Budding Communication, LLC in 2021 when it became apparent that there was a need in our community for truly individualized, in-home speech therapy services. I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Florida-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). After receiving my Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Colorado Boulder, I moved to Milton, FL. Here, I gained experience in outpatient pediatric clinic and school settings before beginning my private practice. I am passionate about building relationships, encouraging curiosity, and facilitating communication in a meaningful way. I believe speech and language therapy should be joyful and make long-lasting impacts. My clinical experience includes Dyslexia, Speech Sound Disorders, Language Impairments, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, stuttering, and more.

My husband and I live with our pup, Luna, on our small farm in Milton, FL. In my free time, I enjoy spending time in nature on our local creeks and trails, gardening, and reading.

A native of Pensacola, I am proud to serve the community I call home. I am a Florida-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). I earned my bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Florida in 2010, and went on to receive my master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2014. As a practicing SLP, I have experience working in both private practice and school-based settings. I enjoy partnering with families to support communication development through meaningful play and everyday experiences at home. I believe that working with children in familiar settings creates the best opportunities for communication growth. My professional experience includes working with early intervention, speech sound/articulation disorders, receptive-expressive language disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Stuttering , Augmentative and Alternative Communication(AAC) and more. 

I married my college sweetheart in 2010 and we live in Pensacola with our two young boys, and our dog, Emma! When I’m not working you can find me at the beach, traveling, cheering on the Florida Gators, or spending time with both my family and church community.​
