Dyslexia

The International Dyslexia Association offer excellent information for parents and professionals about dyslexia. Reading Rockets contains resources. for grade-level reading expectations and at-home activities. 

Speech Sound Development 

This graphic shows the average age children learn to produce English consonants correctly based on 15 English speech acquisition studies compiled by McLeod and Crowe, 2018.

The Stuttering Foundation

The Stuttering Foundation provides free online resources, services and support to those who stutter and their families, as well as support for research into the causes of stuttering.

Early Childhood Development

The Zero to Three website contains information on various topics including parenting, childhood development, and early learning.

Developmental Language Disorder

Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) impacts a child's ability to use and understand language. It is associated with risk of dyslexia and other learning disabilities. The DLD and me website provides resources for parents, students, and professionals.

Bilingualism

The Colorín Colorado website provides excellent information supporting parents and educators with bilingual children. Learning two languages will NOT cause speech or language problems.
